The 2017 season has found it’s happy ending at the October Festival in Strzegom last weekend.
In the CCI* Ben and Avatar improved from 11th place after dressage to a final 3rd out of 60 combinations. They completed on their dressage score of 40.6 with a really good double clear. This was the third top 10 placing out of only four runs for this 7-yr old Trakehner and we look forward to see him improving further in the future.
In the CIC** it was another really good 3rd place, this time for Catelan. A dressage score of 37.7 and a clear jumping saw him in a comfortable lead before the final cross country. However, a steady round and the ambition to build up his confidence instead of going for first places defined the ride across country once more and it was nice to see that this worked out well. A few time faults but otherwise great and confident clear were enough to secure 3rd place for him.
In the CCI** Unteam de la Cense finished his season in great style and took home the honours on a dressage score of 39.2 and a super double clear. Winning this class was great proof of all the big steps he has taken throughout this year towards the step up to 3star next season.
Ben and BGS Urlanmore Prince completed the great runs by adding another placing in the CCI** to their 2017 records. 53.6 and yet another double clear for Ben was rewarded with 6th place.
Also Yoshi had a reason to smile after finishing right where he had started at the beginning of this season in Portugal. He took home the victory in the CIC***, this time on Calle.
With another really good show in the books the team is now ready and set for the big move from Hasslinghausen to Heidmuhlen and is excited to begin a new chapter coming November.
