Renswoude CIC**/CIC***

We travelled Mr. Tomtom and Call me Honey to Renswoude in the Netherlands for their first CIC*** and CIC** this weekend.

Mr. Tomtom started with a normal dressage which was good for his first 3* test but can certainly be improved in the future.
In the jumping he again showed how much he has learned in the last year alone and jumped carefully and in good style despite rolling two poles.
Due to a heavy storm on Saturday afternoon, the organisers decided to run both CIC cross classes on Sunday morning instead. Despite the effort they made and everyone much appreciated we decided to not run Tom across country but give him a new opportunity at one of the following weekends. He nevertheless proved that he is for sure ready to step up a level and we look forward to the next chance.

In the CIC**Call me Honey started with a good test that showed a few very promising bits. In the jumping he jumped well showing quite a lot of routine with only one pole down.
Due to the storm we decided to run him a very steady round a cross country in which the time should not matter most but a smooth and easy ride to build up his confidence. This plan paid off well and he came home clear feeling motivated and very happy.
It is lovely to see how much he has grown since he came to us and we look forward to establishing his performance on the higher level.
