In Hunxe, Carlevo and Boleybawn Prince both competed in their first ever CIC** this weekend.
Carlevo did a very nice dressage test to score 46 penalty points, which took him into a promising 9th before the second day. Across country he started very fluently up until fence no. 8, the first element of a two-house-combination. After slipping over the top with his tummy, the fence surprisingly collapsed underneath him. He luckily was not injured but his cross-country round therefor sadly ended earlier than expected.
Boleybawn Prince was lying in 18th position on a score of 55,6 after dressage but thanks to a very good and quick round across country and only one fence down in the final jumping he climbed up the leader board into 11th place to come home with a nice 2* placing.
The young event horse class or 6 year olds saw Arina (top picture) in 5th on a score of 8,0, followed by Tivento and Call me Honey (bottom picture), both on a score of 7,7.
Sabrina and Felix took a few horses to Renswoude in Holland where there were both * and **-star classes as well as a CIC***.
In the CIC** Sabrina finished 7th on her own Flick Flack and came 16th on Silken Spring. Felix rode Mr. Tomtom in his first ever CIC**, who seemed surprisingly unimpressed by the quite testing cross-country course. Rank 12 in the end seemed a promising result for his forthcoming outings in this level.
